Health in Harmony

The next generation of continuous glucose monitoring.

Glyzen pairs a reusable glucose sensor with an app that turns continuous data into patterns you can actually read — how your mornings, meals, movement and sleep show up in your own numbers.

Why we’re building this

Glucose data has never been more available, or harder to make sense of.

Continuous data is genuinely useful

A reading every few minutes shows something a single measurement cannot: the shape of a day, and how it changes.

But most sensors are single-use

The prevailing model is disposable. Every cycle, the whole device is replaced — which shapes both the cost and the waste.

And numbers alone are hard to act on

A stream of values without context asks a lot of the person reading it. Most people want to know what changed, and why.

What is Glyzen

A sensor, an app, and a clearer view of your own patterns.

The sensor measures continuously. The app does the interpreting. Together they aim to answer a simple question: what is actually going on with me, and what changes it?

A Glyzen sensor worn on the upper arm, with glucose readings shown on a phone.
  1. A reusable sensor

Worn on the arm, reading continuously through the day and night.

  2. The Glyzen app

Your readings arrive on your phone, plotted as a continuous curve.

  3. Trends over time

Days stack up into patterns — your mornings, your meals, your weeks.

  4. Insights you can read

Plain-language summaries of what your own data appears to show.

Pattern

Your levels tend to settle faster on days you walk after lunch.

Insights

The number is the start. The pattern is the point.

Glyzen reads your own history and describes what it finds in plain language — so the app tells you something you didn’t already know from looking at a line.

Meals

The same lunch looks different depending on what came before it — your data shows the comparison side by side.

Activity

A short walk after eating shows up in the shape of your afternoon curve.

Sleep

Overnight is the longest uninterrupted stretch of data you have. Glyzen treats it as a baseline, not a gap.

Daily patterns

Some days repeat. Glyzen looks across weeks to show which of your patterns are consistent.

Examples are illustrative of the product direction. Glyzen describes patterns in your data — it does not diagnose, treat or advise on any medical condition.

Reusable by design

Most of the sensor shouldn’t be disposable.

Glyzen is being built around a reusable core rather than a device that is replaced in full each cycle. It is the decision that shapes most of the rest of the product.

Less to throw away

In a disposable model, the entire device is discarded each cycle. A reusable core is designed so that far less of it does.

Built around the long term

Continuous monitoring is most useful over months, not days. The hardware is being designed for that timescale.

Aimed at accessibility

Reducing what gets replaced each cycle is central to our goal of making continuous monitoring reachable for more people.

Glyzen is in active development. Specifications, including wear duration and replacement cycles, will be published once they are finalised.

In the app

What Glyzen is being built to do.

  • Real-time tracking

Your current reading and the direction it is heading, on your phone.

  • Glucose trends

The full curve for any day, and how it compares with the days around it.

  • Daily summaries

A short read-back of each day, so you can catch up without scrolling.

  • Personal baseline

What is typical for you — established from your own history, not a generic target.

  • High and low alerts

Configurable notifications when readings move outside the range you set.

  • Meal, activity and sleep logging

Add context to the curve so patterns have something to attach to.

  • Insights

Plain-language observations drawn from your own recorded patterns.

  • Historical patterns

Weeks and months of data kept together, so long-run changes stay visible.

How it works

Four steps, then it runs quietly in the background.

  1. 1

    Wear

Apply the sensor to your upper arm and pair it with the app.

  2. 2

    Track

Readings arrive continuously, day and night, without you doing anything.

  3. 3

    Understand

The app plots your curve and describes the patterns it finds.

  4. 4

    Act

Use what you learn about your own routine — with your clinician where it matters.

Who it’s for

Built for people who want to understand their own patterns.

Living with diabetes

People already tracking glucose who want a clearer, longer view of their own patterns alongside their existing care.

Curious about your own data

People who want to understand how their routine — meals, movement, sleep — shows up in their glucose.

Training and wellness

People building an evidence-based picture of how their body responds to how they eat and train.

Continuous glucose monitoring isn’t necessary or appropriate for everyone. If you are managing a health condition, talk to your healthcare provider about whether it makes sense for you.

How we’re building

A health product should earn trust before it asks for it.

Your data is yours

Glucose data is personal. We are designing for clear consent, and for you to be able to see and remove what we hold.

Careful with claims

We describe what your data shows and stop there. Glyzen does not diagnose, treat, or tell you what to do about your health.

Honest about stage

Glyzen is in development. We would rather say what is not finished than imply otherwise.

Questions we get asked

Glyzen is a continuous glucose monitoring system in development: a reusable sensor worn on the arm, paired with an app that plots your readings over time and describes the patterns it finds in them.
